COME TO SASKATOON!!

U14/16 Girls to Saskatoon. This year, eight provinces/regions will be participating.

July 18-23, 2006

Location: Umea Fields and NE Soccer Centre

This year Team Saskatchewan will bring young women together from various parts of the province including Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Yorkton, Lloydminster, Regina and Saskatoon. Tryouts have been completed and players will be identified and the teams set by the end of April 2006.

These teams have been training intensively, since January 2006, in preparation for this championship. It takes a high level of commitment and dedication, a positive attitude and a significant level of technical and tactical training to prepare for the strong level of competition in this championship.

We are extremely fortunate to have the dedication of talented players, excellent coaches and organized managers in Saskatchewan to take on the task of preparing our young women.

The Hosting Committee is looking for volunteer soccer coaches, assistant coaches, managers, parents and players to assist in making this event a great success. We will be needing helpers for: admissions, visiting team guides, airport greeters, field marshals, ball retrieval boys/girls, hospitality room helpers, mini-van drivers, cleanup crews, selling memorabilia, assisting at headquarters (Sheraton Cavalier), assisting at both soccer indoor facilities, back-up people and much more.
