had to deal with a couple of unruly Scotish soccer fans at tournament HQ
on
Friday Oct 6th. |

The opening ceremony was held in the
Saskatoon
Henk Ruys Soccer Center. There were performances by the Muskeg
Lake Aboriginal Dance Troupe and the Saskatoon Pipes and Drums Band.
Also in attendance were City of Saskatoon Mayor Henry Dayday, Saskatchewan's
Lieutenant Governor Linda Haverstock, and the vice president of the Canadian
Soccer Association Andy Sharpe. Now add all 20 teams and the Sasktel field
has never been quite that full. See more pictures

Tournament HQ is open and can be found
on the 2nd floor of the Quality Hotel in downtown Saskatoon on the corner
of 1st Ave and 22nd Street.
